COMPOSITION

Active substance:

Amoxicillin (as amoxicillin trihydrate)……… 150 mg/ml

Excipients:

Methyl parahydroxybenzoate………………………………………. 1 mg/ml

Propyl parahydroxybenzoate……………………………….. 0.4 mg/ml

INDICATIONS

This product is used for the treatment of infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to amoxicillin.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION

Intramuscular administration.

The recommended dose is 15 mg amoxicillin/kg body weight (equivalent to 1 ml product/10 kg body weight). This dose may be repeated after 48 hours.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CORRECT ADMINISTRATION

Shake the bottle well before use to homogenize the suspension.

Two injections per treatment should be administered at different sites. Each administration should be done at a different injection site. General aseptic precautions should be observed when administering the product.

SPECIAL STORAGE PRECAUTIONS

Do not store above 25°C.

Do not use after the expiry date stated on the label.
